Green mangoes are quite common, in many household, as a snack or a side dish for meals. I personally hate it for it is so sour, but Filipinos just simply adore it. Honestly, I just do not like my sour face unlike the cute girl as shown above. As a snack, it is usually served with shrimp paste and soy sauce. A Taiwanese student suggested though to pair it also with sugar, it was tolerable. Coupled with a meal, fried fish, it is usually chopped into bits and mixed with tomatoes and salted egg
